Pratisandhi at Noor 2k19

Women Development Cell, Hansraj college, organized its annual fest, “Nooर 2k19” on 10th March at their college campus.
The fest comprised of many exciting events and activities, including games such as Sponge Game and Darts. Along with this, stalls were put up by multiple NGOs and organizations, including Feminism in India, Pratisandhi, Nazariya, Girl Up India and Enactus – Dyal Singh College, which sold exciting merchandise that people bought and engaged with enthusiastically. The Photobooth was also attended by people with much fervor. In addition, Sukhmanch Theatre, the theatre group organized a play entitled “Ek bata d0” which captivated the audience and left an important message in their minds.

Attended by hundreds of students from many colleges, the event was a success and gave people a chance to bond with each other and have constructive discussions as well.
Pratisandhi was enthralled to have the opportunity to set up a stall at the event to spread across our message to different college students and learn from them. The event gave us an opportunity to start discussions about women empowerment, mensuration,
sanitation, sexual health and the upliftment of the LGBTQI+ community.

The stall was managed by Medha Sharma, Kriti Sharma, and Mridul Pandey.
