Awaaz Studio x Pratisandhi
On 2 March, Pratisandhi headed to the Delhi leg of Awaz Studio’s event held at Antisocial, Haus Khas Village. Awaz Studio is an organization that promotes local art and also educates people about social issues and causes as a part of their initiative.
Pratisandhi was represented by their volunteer Aanya Wig who took to the stage to talk about the need for sexual health education in India. The talk stressed on how conversations about sexual education and sexual health are still a taboo in Indian society and how Pratisandhi is trying to change such public perceptions through its various sessions. In addition to that, the audience was informed about the various goals and achievements of Pratisandhi and how they can get involved through workshops, donation drives, and events to support the cause.
All in all, it was an interactive session that enabled us to spread the message further along with witnessing a number of wonderful performances featuring poetry, storytelling, and music as a part of the line up by Awaaz Studio such as Mohammad Muneem and Swati Bhatt.
